Testimony

I am a bible believing disciple of Jesus Christ as such I hold the written word of God as the authorative source of my beliefs. I did not grow up in a 'Christian home', my belief in the blood of Jesus was revealed to me by God (Galatians 1:12). My past lifestyle was one of bondage to the things of the world. After a 15 year battle with drugs and alcohol I found himself at an all time low point in my life. After a lot of self examination and reading God's Word, I realized that it wasn't just the drugs that had kept me from God. It was the everyday sins of lying, stealing, blaspheming and adultery. Having come to the realization that Jesus experienced the wrath of God that I deserved, I felt the call to spread the good news of the Gospel.

My calling to the mission field led me to Calvary Commission, in Lindale, Texas where I pursued an Associate in Biblical Studies and aquired my pastoral credentials. Today I am currently serving my at my local church, The Church of Living Hope.

Beliefs

• I believe that God created the universe and everything in it according to the account in Genesis.
• There is one living and true God (Isa 45:5-7), an infinite, all-knowing Spirit, perfect in all His attributes, one in essence, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit(Mat 28:19, 2 Cor 13:14).
• Because all men were in Adam, a nature corrupted by Adam's sin has been transmitted to all men of all ages, Jesus Christ being the only exception. All men are sinners by nature, by chorice and by divine declaration (Ps 14:1-3, Jer 17:9, Ro 3:9-18,23;5:10-12).
• I believe salvation is wholly of God by grace on the basis of the redemptive work of Jesus, by the power of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works (Jn 1:12; Eph 1:4-7; 2:8-10; 1Pet 1:18,19).
• I believe that without repentance to God and faith in Jesus everyone will spend eternity in a literal hell (Gen 1; Rev 22:21).
• The establishment of local churches is clearly taught in the New Testament Scriptures and that Christians are instructed to associtate themselves together in local gatherings.

Minor Things

• I have yet to attach a denominational label on myself. I belong to a pentacostal church have some pentecostal beliefs but belive in some non-pentecostal points.
• Minor things have split the church and forced people to work against each other as apposed to with each other.
• I do not belive in a prosperity gospel.
• I do not believe in avoiding the hard subject such as sin, judgement, hell. Untill you understand how wretched man (this include you) is, the grace of God is not amazing.
• I believe we are to go and preach and teach the Gospel to all ethnic groups.
