I am not that good at writing journal entries that are very heartfelt. I usually just present information about you and stuff. This entry has a little more depth to it. Andrea and I are about to leave to take a mission trip to mexico. We leave tomorrow morning and will be gone for 9 days. I know statistically we are more likely to have an accident driving to the airport then on the plane. But I can’t help get worried. I’m sure nothing will happen, but I want you know how much you mean to your mother and I. When we leave you at the airport, you mother will be crying and it will be very emotional. We never knew that having children could mean so much to us. You really are the joy and meaning to our lives. Jeremiah we love you so much, I could never really express it in a cheesy blog like this. I can’t wait to watch you grow up and continue playing ball with you and watching you run around laughing and having a good time. This will be a long 9 days. I want you to know that we do things like this because God has called us to and because life is about more than what we want out of it. You have to learn to always give to other, whether it is you money, time or lives. The one way to have meaning is to be grounded in Christ and to help others that are not as fortunate as yourself. You are the cutest most important thing in our lives. I can’t wait to get back and cuddle with you

Hey buddy.. You are really growing! You have a couple of words that you really like to say. Your favorite word is ‘shoes’… If we tell you that it is time to go outside you say shoes!! You like to blow on things of we say it hot… We tried to take you to Cedar Point but it was a really stressful day… I don’t think you liked it that much.

Your daddy here, just wanted to say how much you mean to your Mom and I. You are in this cute stage where you like to point at things. You love grapes and will eat them until you pop. You are quite a handful… you love to explore and check everything out. If there is one thing in a room that you shouldn’t play with… that is the one thing that you go for. Toys are not fun, but iphones and computer keyboards are. It is amazing how much you watch us and imitate us. You pick up things like remotes and talk in them like they are cell phones. You love to pound the keys on a keyboard although you have no idea what you are doing. Everyone in Texas really misses you… We still are staying at Grandma’s basement still, but we see the light at the end of the tunnel… soon we will be debt free with a fully funded emergency fund. Your mom’s journal for you is so much more detailed… My entrys are short and to the point… and boring compared to mommys. I have been doing these at work and don’t have the pictures for this so i’ll have to post those later.

We have had a real busy summer. Since my last post about the Texas trip we have been to Beulah Beach, Nascar, 4th of July fireworks, your first (drive-in) movie, had our first major sickness and watched our first VeggieTales show. Whew! I’ll throw in some pictures at the end. You are growing up way to fast! You are walking, giving kisses (to mommy), waving bye-bye (sometimes), saying ‘arf-arf’, ‘mooo’, ‘momma’, ‘dadda’ and you are making a race car sound. After the texas trip, we went to Beulah Beach and you had a good time. You really like walking around Vermillion and watching the loud motorcycles. You are the cutest baby ever… You love to play outside and we spend a lot of time in the sand or at the garden. Oh, just recently we went to the play place at the mall and you have figured out how to go up the stairs and down the slide. But you want to always go back up the slide- I have to walk you back around to the stairs. Anyways… here are the recent pictures.

We just went on another trip to Texas. This time we flew in a plane for the first time. You did ok, for about 20 minutes you screemed yourself to sleep. Everyone really loves you and thinks you are growing up way to fast. You are starting to take steps, sometimes 4 or 5 at a time, but only when you want to. You visited your Grandpa Larry, Galveston, Lindale and everyone in Dallas. You also met your cousin, Jameson, for the first time. On the way home you started playing peek-a-boo.

You are going throug a ‘hachoo’ phase. It started when we were shopping at the store for the trip. I sneezed and you thought it was the funniest thing, you almost feel out of the cart. So your Mom and I kept doing it, then you started doing it… it was cute. Now you do it on demand. It is the cutest thing ever.

 It is officially summer. We went to the annual Beulah Beach auction last weekend. You did pretty good and did a lot of playing in the grass and walking with your walker thingy. On the way back we stopped by a park and mommy and daddy relaxed on the grass while you climbed all over us. In vermillion we walked around and you were really intrigued by the loud motorcycles. Then we went swimming for the first time in your 1st pool. You didn’t like the cold water but you got used to it.

 Hey buddy, you are now 9 months old. The other day you took your first ‘baby step’ according to your mommy. I was at work and didn’t see it but there will be more for me to witness. Today you really freaked you mom out by trying to eat a cable-tie nail tack thingy. Luckily you threw it up and didn’t swallow it. You are getting too big to quickly. We are leaving for your first plane trip and first trip to Texas on June 3rd 2011. Your mom and I just adore you and love the new things that you do. We have been planting a garden the past couple of days and have taken you with us. Usually you hang out in the playpen… you spent most of your life inside during the long, cold winter… when we first put you on the grass you were scared of it. I made mommy a picnic table for our anniversary and we have been eating supper out on it almost everyday. You love to watch the dogs outside. Here are some Easter pictures of you and us.

Because each basket will be hand made, brands and styles of individual items may be differ from picture.

Well your Mom and I are just so in love with watching you grow and play and stuff. You are very active and love to explorer and check out things, especially the things that we say no to. You are eating many different foods. Since spring is here we let you sit on the grass and you were afraid of it. I had to show you that it was ok to touch. You still havn’t crawled around on it yet. You love when Caiden is around and like to ‘get’em’. I have been working at BSSi for a couple of months now and we are getting ready to go to texas.

You are now 6 months old. You have mastered the art of crawling and are getting into everything. About the same day that you mastered crawling you also started pulling yourself up onto your feet. It really freaks your mom out to see you fall down. You have bronchitis for the second time. It is has been just really cool to watch you grow and explore the world around you. You love paper and electrical cords, but you are not allowed to play with either one. Your mom and I love you so much and just have the best time together as a family. I get home from work everyday and want to give everyone a big group hug. You like to stand up holding your toybox and try to get toys out while standing but you don’t have enough hands and end up either half in the toybox or on the ground next to it. We can’t wait to see what you surprise us with next.
